Part D out-of-pocket costs now capped at $2,000 per year
Starting in 2025, no one on a Part D plan will pay more than $2,000 out of pocket for prescription drugs in a calendar year. This ends the old 'donut hole' coverage gap.

Standard Part B premium rises to $185 for 2025
The standard monthly Part B premium is $185 in 2025, up from $174.70 in 2024. The annual Part B deductible is $257.

2025 IRMAA thresholds updated
Higher-income Medicare beneficiaries will see their IRMAA thresholds adjusted for inflation. The lowest tier now begins at MAGI above $106,000 (single) or $212,000 (joint).
